Regulatory and financial burdens of EU legislation in four Member States – a comparative study - Vol. 4

The study compiled by the Center for European Policy (CEP) and Prognos AG compares the regulatory burdens and compliance costs arising from Art. 30 and 33 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for companies in Germany, France, Italy and Austria.

The result: internationally active companies in particular have to comply with different requirements in the individual member states.

However, it is often not clear to them which actions they should take. Among other things, companies would like to see EU-wide harmonization of the required information and to work with fixed templates.
